CGI Global has today submitted its response to the Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) on the Discussion Paper (DP) on the Corporate Governance Framework: Strengthening Governance Practices and Driving Behavioural Shifts for Sustainable Value Creation.
We welcome SC’s leadership in driving corporate governance reform in Malaysia as set out in the anticipated Capital Market Masterplan 4, expected later this year, and the positioning
of the value of “corporate governance as an enabler of a resilient, inclusive and sustainable capital market.” This is consistent with other markets where good governance policies and
practices have enhanced investor confidence, stock market performance and overall capital market competitiveness.
